Decent table/chair set, assembled easy and looks nice. Umbrella broke when trying to open, very cheaply made. One of the chair arms were damaged in box. For the price it was to be expected that it’s not made of high quality materials.

The chairs are not as sturdy as I would have thought. One chair has the screw and protector missing and now that means another trip back to the store - a 30 minute drive.

Q: How wide is this umbrella? Can it be tilted? Where is the lever to open and close it? Does it include the base umbrella holder?

A: Hello Britt, the umbrella's dimensions are 59\" D x 87\" H x (150 x 221 cm). Unfortunately the umbrella in this patio set was not manufactured to tilt. The lever is located underneath the umbrella. Additionally, this patio set does not include the umbrella base. I hope we answered all of your questions.

Q: Other than the damage in delivery, are there any other concerns like chairs are not stable, the umbrella is in poor condition, etc?

A: There was no damage; items were all well packed & protected. Chairs are very stable and rated to 220 pounds; umbrella is fine. It does take 2 people to assemble the table. Overall, for the price, I like it very much.

A: It opens like a regular umbrella by sliding a ring up the post. It is very easy to operate. I love the whole set. You will have to buy a base for the umbrella, however. It doesn’t come with the kit.
