Q: Can you tell me how long it would take to set up this gazebo?
4 years agoA: It took me a half day I suppose. I needed a bit of help holding poles to assemble the frame. Putting on the screen curtains took a while. It is value for the money as long as you have a way to secure it from wind.

Q: Our top has a series of grommets around the top... rain will come through these holes, three on each side. They are not advertised in the photo or in the instructions.
4 years agoA: These grommets are there to let the water run off the roof. In stormy conditions if there is just a little slack in the adjustment of your canopy the rain water will puddle around the edges and could cause damage to the fabric... it is rare that rain comes through these grommets under normal circumstances- they are actually a protective feature.

Q: Does this unit get bolted to a patio, deck or ground via the post? Is it anchored via a guidewire? Can the frame be left up all year round?
3 years agoA: It is bolted to the deck. We keep the frame up all year round but take the top off every fall.

Q: I’m soaking my canopy from last year to try to remove some stains. Has anyone tried other ways of cleaning the canopy?
3 years agoA: Use the oxy clean powder and tide powder laundry detergent. Takes out stains amazingly! I did the same.

Q: Can this be secured into the ground with stakes or does it have to be into a deck or a wood platform so it doesn't blow away in the wind?
3 years agoA: It does come with plastic footings and metal spikes to secure to the ground (as well as spikes and string to tie down the corners). However, we had ours staked and tied down in the ground, and we had a day with strong winds, and the wind pulled the canopy out of the footings that were spiked into the ground and it blew away almost over the fence into the neighbours yard.
