Decent Product for outdoor batting cage

Decent product. Used in an outdoor batting cage. The product lies somewhere between 1980's outdoor carpet my grandparents installed on their back porch and the high-end turf you buy for $5-7/sq ft at a landscape supply store.
Since we were using for a batting cage and pitching mound where durability and price is more important, this appears to be a good choice. this may change after 1 winter exposed to snow/ice/cold.
The process of cutting the turf in the Canadian Tire store needs improvement. Staff are not prepared or knowledgeable on how to cut the turf.

A: Yes 30 x 180 cm. The width is 6ft and it goes by length. So add 1 (30cm) or how many feet you want. So I bought 4 ft by 6ft for my balcony.

A: Yes, we have it in the backyard for our dog. He both poos and pees on it and is quite happy. Depending on where you put it I'd advise rinsing it with a hose from time to time (if it hasn't rained) just to keep it from smelling (our yard is small and it's close to our sitting area), but otherwise it's fabulous.

Q: Putting this over our grass for a dog run, I know this will kill the grass, but is there anything that should be put underneath or can it go straight on the ground? Does it lay flat? What would you use to pin it down so the dog or wind doesn’t pull it up?

A: Hello, the runner can be placed directly on surface. If the surface is levelled, the runner will lay flat. You can pin down the runner with generic stakes. Thank you.
