Love these little lights!!

They are marked as battery operated and not as solar so I knew that when buying. Have had the same four batteries in the two strands I bought over a month ago and they’re still working amazing. We’ve been using them up north at the cottage in pretty crazy storms and they’ve been perfectly fine.

Battery pack doesn’t keep water out. What a waste of money. Description says outdoor use.

These are not solar as the name implies. They are battery operated. They are cute though, we'll see how they do.

Great for under patio umbrella

Bought one set of these for under my patio table umbrella. They light up awesome! I like that they have an auto shut off timer option. Need two strings to use under umbrella though. Ordering another set as I write this!
