Good style - poor quality

I love the look of this desk. But when we got it, it was scratched in some places and we bought two book shelves with it and the same with them. The front of the drawers are crooked and there's no way to adjust them with the fit quick design. Otherwise, it is a sturdy desk and I like the style of it. I just with they were more careful packing their product. I wouldn't pay full price for it though. I would have returned it if I got it in this condition and paid full price.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can the filing drawer accommodate legal-sized files? For example, some drawers can hold letter-sized files in one direction and legal-sized files the other.

A: The big drawer can accommodate letter size hanging folders. If you want legal, you might be able to fit them in the opposite direction if you don't want hanging folders. But it's a letter size drawer if you want hanging.

Q: Can you fully open a laptop on this desk so the screen is angled back (19" laptop)? Picture seems to imply you cannot.

A: Yes you can. The way the image is shown is the standard way to shoot a laptop in a desk, but we can see it could look confusing because of hutch.
