Survives warranty period

This fan is a fine choice if you only require it for occassional use. After one year of use at nighttime for cooling white noise, this fan has started to become quite noisey, making audible click when extended and returning on rotation, as well as a high pitched dog whistle that comes and goes, especially on higher settings. It also seeks to be poorly designed, as the retation button works independant of fan speed setting, even with the fan off the rotation will still continue. All around a poor product that seems designed to survive its warranty period, but not much else. Disposable. Spend a little more on a better product
