Not so nice - Not Boxed

Ordered for on-line pick-up. It is not boxed. The store says they come multiple trees in one box therefore no box for customer. No box to present to someone as a gift. No box for storage. The lights & the star are permanently attached - the star in particular is like to break off. Not very attractive in real life - not worth the price. Will likely return.

Poor Quality

I remember having one growing up, so this was a nostalgia purchase. The battery pack is a bit brighter than the demo, but still not great. My biggest issue was the battery pack itself. It is not properly secured to the base. I popped completely off just removing the demo line. I had to glue it back onto the bottom of the stand. Then, its not just a clip to remove the cover. There is also a screw which just spins and spins without coming out. I had to break the cover off just to put the batteries in! I haven't tested it long enough to see how fast they drain. Even 10 dollars off, this was not a good purchase.
Do yourself a favour and get a different one. This is not the only company I've seen make these. Even if you have to pay extra elsewhere.

Amazing tree. Bigger than I thought and a great price.
My little Italian grandmother always used to have this in her house and no I can carry on the tradition!!

A special memory

It brings back memories of the large ceramic one my mother won when I was a child. I lost my mother to cancer when I was twelve, so having a replica of "her" is very special.

Q: Are the light removable or glued in?

A: The battery pack is glued in but easy to remove. I am going to remove it and replace with a light like those used with Christmas villages. It is a lovely tree and Canadian Tire's price is excellent! I couldn't resist - looks like the one we had when I was a kid.
