This brown square pergola features a gently curved roofline supported by faux wood finished posts and matte black finish beams for a contemporary but natural look that blends well in any outdoor environment. The adjustable louvered aluminum pergola also has sling sunshades that can be adjusted from side-to-side to block the sun as it changes positions. This patio pergola is made of sturdy rust-resistant, powder coated steel to help withstand the elements, requires assembly and measures 10'W x 10'D x 8'-4"H. While designed for outdoor use, this steel pergola and its canopies should be dismantled and stored in advance of winter weather conditions to extend its good looks and functionality. Q: This product is recommending to dismantledismantle and store at the end of each season and in advance of extreme weather conditions. Is anyone doing this?
4 years agoA: Not a chance. The exception being that I will remove and store the canvas sunshade in the garage. I have built my Gazebo on a patio and it is bolted down as per instructions. Personally I am not going through a takedown and rebuild each year to improve the longevity. (I'll take my chances ;)

Q: We would need to take the canopy down daily so the wind would not take it. Is it easy to take the canopy off and on? Is it a slide or permanently on?
4 years agoA: It is not easy to take the canopy off as it does not slide or roll up to the side like other pergola shades. If you download the user manual you can see in step 11 that the canopy is held to each side by four screws. I wish we had known this prior to buying as we wouldn't have bought this pergola.

Q: As some reviews have stated, although I don't know if this is the same model, this product is prone to rusting at some joints, and the residual rust stains the deck surfaces, which in effect, is damaging and unsightly.
4 years agoA: i just bought and assembled yesterday so far it's been good. I don't know how it will stand the test of time in terms of corrosion. The label says the it is has anti rush (rush free)

Q: Can this be bolted down to a deck?? How would it hold up in wind, are you able to take the shade out on the windier days so it doesn’t blow away? (Live in a very Windy City)
4 years agoA: Hello Leesa, if you want to bolt the gazebo to a deck you need to use M5 expansion bolts. This pergola can hold rank 5(＜21mph) wind. It is good to take the shade out on heavy wind days.
