Great Quaily, Price, Easy of Installation & Great

I recently purchased this Fluidmaster 3 inch Flapper valve replacement kit for my American Standard toilet. Installation was very easy thanks to the detailed installation booklet which included pictures for every step. I had one small problem with the installation but a quickly answered call by a Fluidmaster technician easily solved the problem. Although the unit is still new, a combination of a quality product, reasonably price, easy installation & fast telephone response by Fluid master customer service allows me to highly recommend this flapper valve.

Q: We installed this but when flushing there is a lot of resistance when pushing the lever. I've previously installed two of the 2" versions of this product and neither of them have this issue. Is there something we can adjust to make it easier to flush?

A: check the angle of the lever arm it may be set up too high and touching the water tank lid also check the chain on the flapper it may be strung too tight.

Q: Why doesn't CTC carry the replacement 3 inch gasket that is sold in this product (63-0577) separately?

A: Based on the information provided, your toilet model uses a 2 inch flush valve. So a 507A- 507AK, K-507A-008 would be a comparable replacement.
