Foam terrible

This product is terrible. Bought these for my sons and the padding in the back is kit secured. It keeps bunching up and making them look like a hunchbacks.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Purchased this for my nephew as he was in need of a new one. This fit him perfectly, and was super comfortable and nice looking. Stands out when he is on the lake.

Fitting and comfortable

We tried a few different life jackets for my son, but none seemed to fit very well, or he complained they were uncomfortable while wearing. This was the first one he was able to wear that actually fit, and he didn't have to keep adjusting. As well, he didn't have a single complaint about it.

Q: Is it suitable for people who can't swim

A: This is an ULC and Transport Canada approved PFD, and it is designed for flotation and will keep a conscious person’s head out of the water in calm conditions. It is also recommended for people who are confident in water. Even though the PFD can function well and suitable for people who cannot swim, we strong suggest you to use it in area with sufficient lifeguard and avoid keeping yourself alone in the open water for your own safety. We also suggest you to study the caution hang tag and booklet tagged on each PFD before using it to help you to understand more about the function and limitation of PFD.

A: It's a Type III, according to the Rush Sports website. TYPE III Good for conscious users in calm, inland water, or where there is a good chance of quick rescue. It is designed so wearers can place themselves in a face-up position in the water. The wearer may have to tilt their head back to avoid turning face-down in the water. The Type III foam vest has the same minimum buoyancy as a Type II PFD. It is generally the most comfortable type for continuous wear. Float coats, fishing vests, and vests designed with features suitable for various sports activities are examples of this type PFD. This type inflatable turns as well as a Type II foam PFD.
