The product is a gravity / siphon system so the Duramax must be positioned higher than the receiving tank for the product to function as intended. Also, 14 gallons of gas is heavy and we state in the instructions that lifting requires two people. Pump handle quit

Purchased in the Spring, used it once just fine and then the next time I tried to use it, in the Fall, it no longer pumped. Will have to replace the handle now so not convenient for me at all. The whole point of this was for convenience.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Solid product, some minor irritations.

Holds gas, hose and nozzle work well, wheels don't wheel only slide/drag, but I imagine that will loosen over time. It also seems very difficult to completely empty as outflow spout is high on bottom. But sturdy construction and good price. All negatives are only minor irritations. Good product

Nice capacity but could use better hose fittings

The capacity is nice to have for filling the boat at the lake. Bought two of them and with not bad. First thing you should do before using is take the cheap plastic hose clamps off and replace with stainless steel clamps. Think mine lasted one fill before breaking and leaking fuel all over the place. The rest of the tank is built sturdy, and easy the wheel around.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Curious about the flow. It says in siphon mode, up to 2 Gallons / minute. Is there a pumping mechanism that would offer a quicker flow? We moor a boat, and 53 L could take a while at 2 Gallons / minute.

A: At 2 gal/min it would take just over 6 min to dispense 53L. Unless it does not flow at 2gal/min.

Q: Picture shows tractor filling from the ground. Does this have a pump to push gasoline up the hose to the tractor hieght?

A: Hi Tony - When the tank is at the same level or above the Duramax, you will use siphon mode. But first ensure that both shut off valves on the tank and the hose are in the open position. Then make sure the vent screw is open. insert the nozzle into the tank and squeeze the handle repeatedly. Gas will begin to flow into the tank. When the tank is full, release the pump handle. When the Duramax is positioned above the tank to be filled, simply insert the nozzle, depress the child safety lock and squeeze. The fuel will begin to flow in gravity mode. Q: Can it be used to store gas for emergencies at home ?Will there be safety issue ? Or is there any time limit like 3 months to replaced stored fuel ?

A: Hi Shikhar - Customer satisfaction is very important to Scepter. There is no expiration date on our commercial fuel cans. Prudent users will regularly inspect their cans for cracks, leaks or other damage and ensure that the fuel tank appears to be in good condition, with all components intact before filling with fuel. We cannot comment on the gas/diesel itself and it's storage life/safety. Q: Does the gas canister work by gravity? If so, the pictures show that it's on the ground? Which one is it?

A: Hi bjn61 - Customer satisfaction is very important to Scepter.The Scepter Flo'N Go Duramax works best under siphon conditions with the fuel tank positioned higher than your equipment, such as a jet ski in the water and the tank on a dock. In this setup, continuous pumping is not required. Pulling the trigger handle will start the flow and releasing the handle will stop the flow. However, if your fuel tank is positioned below your equipment - such as a motorcycle with the fuel tank on the ground - you will need to pump continuously as a siphon flow cannot be established.
