A: If you disconnect it from the water tap and drain the water out of it,it will be okay for the winter.

A: It would collapse. I would recommend running ot through a pice of pvc pipe if you wanted to do that.

A: I have a flexilla hose that I use to make ice in a backyard rink. I can tell you it is very good in very cold temps but I have always drained it after use. I think it would be hard for any hose to get water flowing again once it freezes. But this one in my opinion is the best.
