Does not last outside

I used this tape to repair some large gashes in my ShelterLogic shed caused by falling tree branches during last year's ice storm. I used 2 rolls in the spring to repair the rips and it is now fall - 5 months later- and the tape has completely disintegrated from UV. I would not purchase this product for outdoor use again.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: I have to patch a large hole in a pond liner. Can I use the tape to bond in the replacement rubber and the pond liner as a patch than use the liquid flex seal as a backup over the joints. Let it cure before filling as not to harm the fish.

A: Not sure but believe the flex tape is good under water. Check the flex tape site for verification. The flex seal liquid I would not use with fish. I tried the spray to seal water sprout and did not work but the tape was excellent

Q: I need to replace the waterproof tape on the seams inside my waterproof mittens. Will this work if I cut it into narrow strips?

A: It worked well to seal the side seams of my paddle board. It was easy to use, stuck well and kept the board dry for the last two years. I doubt that it would be comfortable inside of mittens, but worth a try!

Q: I am looking to fix a leak on my RV's black water PVC pipe. If the pipe is cleaned and dried, can I apply this from the outside and expect it to seal and hold water in? If not, is there another product recommendation? FusionPro did not work.

A: Hi Not really. You can't stop a liquid leak from the outside in any event. I had a similar problem with a water leak. If it is a PVC pipe then maybe you can cut it at the leak and instal a coupler. My leak is on Polypropylene pipe - no glue available.
