Expensive for a cultivator, but well made

The design is a little strange, but this is a very effective cultivator. The tines on most cultivators are too thin and too far apart to get a good grip on the dirt and pull it out of the way. The thicker tines and narrower gaps on this Fiskars product are much more effective and do more than just combing the dirt out of the way. The tines are very strong. We've used this thing to lever garden stones into place and they never bent. The handle is a comfortable if a little flimsy. The shininess of the tines has faded, but there is no rust. Overall, this is a great little garden tool.
