Claimed 30% stronger 100% vindicated

Bought the 24” in-store yesterday, returning one with longer handles at 1/3 the price. It had only scored the shown padlock. The additional leverage from the ingenious Fiskars design was immediately apparent. After 2 minutes: SNAP! Such a relief as was not looking forward to damage from grinder slips - nor buying/storing a much longer and heavier conventional cutter. Will definitely watch for other tools by Fiskars. Thank you Canadian Tire for carrying, allowing the exchange, and having a great staff person to advise at the Ironwood Richmond store at closing July 7.

Useful tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had the chance to use these on bolts, but they work well with chains and cable. Nipping a chain link fence is like slicing through butter. The handles are quite comfortable. I mistakenly left them out overnight in the rain, but no rust!

Discard bolt cutter

It was a waste of money did not cut through the lock did not even scratch the lock and the lock was cheap. The bolt cutter blades actually bent.
