very disappointed. only works with older operating systems on phone. everybody upgrades phones so often that makes these bulbs useless for anyone in the age group that uses smart devices.

I bought this today and didn't check what app it uses...I downloaded and installed multiple apps none work... I also installed the original home Brite app, it says I need android 4.4 then exits... Disappointed with Canadian Tire buying an old technology that is not compatible with modern devices..

The app still hasn't been updated to work with current versions of Android. We were excited to purchase this product but will be returning it immediately.

Terrible app. Doesn't work after upgrading android OS. Says i need v4.4.4 or higher.

I bought this bulb 6 months ago to you on a circuit that does not have a light switch. The app worked when i installed it on galaxy 9+ for a few months. Recently my android os was upgraded and now the app completely fails and exits when trying to start. DO NOT BUY THIS LIGHT BULB IF YOU MUST USE THE APP TO CONTOL IT. Canadian Tire needs to stop selling it!!
