These bulbs are designed to work with 3-way sockets that cycle through the 30W, 60W, and 100W brightness levels—so without that setup, they often stay at the brightest output. Q: Is an Energy Star discount coupon applicable? Current examples in the local store have an Energy Star logo on the package (this logo is not shown in the picture which is shown online).

A: The bulb is eligible for the rebate coupons and has been added to the list of eligible products at the store level. The rebate program is over (month of April) but in Ontario, the program runs all year where customers can print the coupons from the government website and use them at the store.
