Flickering Feit light bulbs

Poor product and poor manufacturer response. Light bulbs flicker within a month of normal use. Emailed manufacturer no response. Do NOT purchase these!

I purchased two 8 packs of these bulbs in 2016 and within 2 years a 100% failure rate. Received zero satisfaction with the "warranty". What an epic waste of money.

Begin to Flicker after weeks and get HOT

Terrible light bulbs! Began to Flicker after only weeks. Base gets extremely hot (strange for a 9W bulb??)... so much so it has yellowed and cracked! I have tossed all in the garbage

Q: Will these bulbs work with a dimmer switch?

A: we use them with a dimmer, you can dim to different levels, but it is not a smooth transition between levels, they can flicker in between but you can definitely get them to run at a lower level ok.

Q: Are these LED lightbulbs Energy Star certified?

A: I don't see any symbol indicating this on the box. They are non-dimmable & rated for 10 000 hours/9.1 years, about half that of more expensive dimmable bulbs but at less than half the price. They use 80% less energy than a 60W incandescent; Energy Star requires 70-90% less. I'm answering the question because I recommend this product whether it has an Energy Star label or not.

Q: LED bulbs a normal stock item? (Product #299-4990-8) I first saw these boxes of 8 Feit brand LED bulbs during the Boxing Day 2015 sale... and they quickly sold out. Do the stores plan on getting more in... or were they a one-time Boxing Day special? Please advise.
