LEDs Stopped Bulbs from Blowing

I have a light fixture in my kitchen that takes 4 GU10 bulbs. For years a bulb would blow every month or so. I must have paid, in bulbs, the cost of the light fixture 10 times over. It finally occurred to me that I should try lower watt LEDs and presto - no more bulb replacements since I bought and installed these! These come with a warranty, so I'm still hanging on to the receipt just in case, but it's been about 9 months already.
