    The "00" Federal buckshot performed well. Brought down the wild game effectively and quickly. Its a little on the expensive side. But most ammunition has increased substantially since Covid.

    At 4 bucks a shell they are far too expensive. My rating of 1 star is only because of the price, not the quality. Federal makes awesome ammo.

    Had one walk right under my stand. No further than 3 yards. They stayed so grouped together it was like a slug. I know I was close but dam.

    • A: With this load you can hunt medium game, primarily being deer, but black bear and antelope is also considered medium game. Unfortunately no max distance is listed by Federal, but it does have a muzzle velocity of 1290 feet per second.
