Ballistic Tips Fall Off, DO NOT BUY!!

Over 35 rounds with different configurations to zero it in, thought it was my scope. Finally got three rounds that were ok then put my gun away for the hunt. I had a huge buck in front of me and my shot went roughly 5 feet high. I was loading another round in my magazine and the ballistic tip fell off, this is a huge safety hazard, do not purchase.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is this a good round for a Mossberg 500, 3 inch chamber, slug barrel?

A: Those are designed for slug (rifled) barrels and as for chambers A gun chamber is measured from the round once shot. So if you buy 3 inches round if you measure them they will not measure 3 inches. they will once shot that's why your firearm says 3 inch chamber once open (shot) it has to fit in the chamber. A 3-1/2 inch round will fit unfired in a 3 inch chamber but may do substantial damage up to a banana peel with your barrel when fired. NEVER ATTEMPT TO CHAMBER A LONGER ROUND IN YOUR SHOTGUN THAN IT'S DESIGNED FOR it will fit and fire but with VERY nasty results.
