Q: when cutting steel how long does the blade last soft stee.l hard to answer but 2000 cuts or more 1by 1 tubing best guess
2 years agoA: I bought this saw 6 years ago to build supports for a 25 foot commercial bar. The supports are made from1" cold rolled bar steel with 1/8"thick walls. The feet are cut from 4" flat stock 1/8" thick steel. I made between 80 and 100 cuts with the stock blade. The blade started to leave burrs after around 80 cuts. I switched the blade to a blade made to cut steel and the saw continues to perform well to this day. I also use it for woodworking (with the right blade). The multipurpose blade is pretty good as a general purpose blade. In it's price range it's the best single bevel sliding miter saw I've seen.

Q: saw is hard to turn from left to right
a year agoA: I purchased the Evolution 10" miter saw a year ago, and now it's becoming difficult to use. The miter adjustment is extremely hard to turn to the left/right, and it feels like the metal base and assembly are rubbing against each other.

Q: There is a delay in starting the saw when you pull the trigger. Is this normal?
5 years agoA: This is normal as the saw has the added safety feature of a slow start. Please allow the saw to reach maximum speed before cutting to ensure optimal saw and blade performance.
