An excellent bicycle light

The light is very bright especially when set to pulse (strobe) mode. I believe this helps motorists recognise the presence of an oncoming bicycle. The mounting clamp accomodates a cable tie (not supplied) for extra security. I am using this light on my bicycle ride across Canada. I wish it was also available with red LEDs and/or a red lens, for use as a rear light.

Excellent bike light!

After reviewing many lights online and handling a number in various stores, this light stood out. It's lightweight, bright and the tool free mount with quick release is handy for positioning and using it as a flashlight! On the road it projects light at least as wide as the trails/sidewalks very clearly so you will see the ground 20 - 25 feet ahead. Mounted upright with the button on top I found that there was a lot of reflected light in my eyes... so I reversed the mount and presto! Headed back to the store to grab two more for my kids - and you should too.

A: Hi Harry - no, this light is only a white bulb. However, 073-5119-6 is a small light that has both white and red bulb functions if you want to check that one out.

Q: how do you open up the battery compartment? It just won't budge when I try

A: There may be dirt or grim blocking it. We do not recommend using WD-40. The compartment just slides open. See attached image.
