The Evans Prep Fluid, 1-Gallon, is a universal waterless coolant conversion fluid that readies your engine cooling system for all-new waterless coolant. This 1-gallon fluid purges existing water-based antifreeze by flushing out residual antifreeze after draining while leaving block drains intact. While Prep Fluid is not a standalone coolant, its waterless formula effectively gets cooling systems ready for a new waterless Evans Coolant® to optimize heat transfer and corrosion protection. Prep Fluid should be used when block drains cannot be removed or are unavailable. Once the flush is complete, Evans waterless coolant can be installed for peak performance. However, this is not a substitute for thoroughly draining the cooling system and related components.
