works great easy to pull on snow didn't install cover as grandson is 18 months old but cover would be great for smaller child.. i did replace pull cord with a thicker and a bit longer cord as cord that comes is a bit short and like a shoelace.. but as far as sled goes it works great

Q: There are no instructions on how to install the tow rope and the straps. Can anyone provide insight on this? Seems as though I’m the third person on here looking for how to install this correctly.

1 Answer
  • A: Ok I was also having problems figuring out the strap/harness so I finally sat and spent some time figuring in out. I will try to describe how to 'install' it without pictures... ok, so there are two strap 'ends', one that is shorter and sewn over in a layer, and one longer that does not have a folded edge. The shorter one with the layered edge gets inserted into the middle hole on the bottom of the sled to support the crotch area -- but wait until the other strap is installed before doing that one. The longer one goes around the middle of the toddler and is more complicated. First, you have to slide the part of the buckle with the prongs completely OFF the strap, that's why it doesn't have a layered edge. Then pull the strap through the two holes in the back of the sled, from the inside out, then through the back to the inside. Then slide the buckle back on, insert the shorter strap into the bottom hole, and voila. I had to redo it once to get the strap untwisted. I hope that helps!
