This thing is a total BOSS!! Can operate one handed while the other adjusts the automatic chute, speed, and forward/ reverse! Tracks perfectly and easy to turn without using the turn controls. Bright light and heated handles!💪 Worth every penny and more! Launches snow and ice chunks a mile. I couldn’t be happier!

My initial impression is very positive. This blowers work as good as comparable gas powered, minus the noise and obvious, smell… my only complaint is that the drive setting has no neutral.

Purchased just in time for a 7” snowfall. Just amazing how easily it cut through the snow without hesitation! Large driveway (25x40-ish). Heated grips, self propelled, turn assist, headlights, variable speed, variable blower adjustment, etc. Managed to clear two snowfalls and the batteries had 2/5ths charge left.

I got to try this snowblower out, although it was only 3-4 inches of snow, it was heavy and wet. Just as good as the toro gas blower I had growing up. I was able to do my whole driveway and both batteries still showed a full charge, so I’m sure I’ll have no problem with deeper snow. With other electric blowers on the market, I’m glad I chose the EGO based on its reviews. My driveway isn’t huge, but given I used so little battery charge doing it, this thing can definitely run for a long time. The heated handles are a good idea, although I typically wear gloves anyway.

Quick backstory, I’m a 58 year old woman whose husband works away and who lives in a house with a driveway that’s 2/10th of a mile long, a house that’s 75ft long with a back patio and front porch, all of which is on a dead end drive surrounded by fields. I get tons of blowing drifting snow when storms roll in. The husband told me for years to get a snowblower and this year I finally listened to him, lol. I researched for weeks. I compared models, read reviews, watched videos, and waited for sales. I made a great decision! The 28” ego with the 12 ah batteries is your best option! Knowing the dimensions of my property already, now add a two car garage with four large trucks worth of parking, my neighbors two 3 car driveways and eight inches of snow with an easy 12” drifts. This beast of a machine cleared it all in 56 minutes and I still had two battery indicators left! There’s five sections on each battery. Also it came unassembled in a huge box on a pallet. All you have to do is lift up the box off of the machine, grab the little box with six bolts and six green turn screws, put four in the handle and two on the snowblower itself that slides down on a post and wah-lah it’s put together . It arrived with a charge so you can practice and get acquainted with the levers and buttons. Which never having operated a snowblower in my life was a good thing. Charging only takes about an hour and 15 minutes. The handle warmers are really nice, the lights are bright, and it’s a really sturdy machine. Make sure you take pictures of the serial numbers to register your machine batteries and charger. That process was really simple too. Hubby was impressed. I highly recommend the model with the batteries and charger!!! I’m telling you-buy this one!
