i read all the reviews comparing this 26" vs previous 24" model. I even watched U-Tube of owner of both models. I have an Echo gas-powered long arm model. It does a "good" job, but this trimmer is much more powerful, which was a pleasant surprise! Weight with my little 2.5 AH battery is easily manageable for an 81 year old man.

I will finally not slice through any extension cords, thank god! the carbon blade frame makes this super light and easy to use. I have been procrastinating my hedges for about a year, after this purchase, I cant wait to trim them again haha! great tool

I’m actually very impressed with the performance of this trimmer it cuts fast and easy, very powerful tool and the battery that it comes with last long enough, but you do need some strong arms to use it for long period of time

The two handed power buttons are both safe and comfortable. The added length (26”) is a big enabling tool but the big difference is the trimming thickness. Very pleased!!
