Dry to wet snow

With 9 inches of heavy snow had to take smaller passes but did OK batteries went down faster because of load with 2 inches of snow the next day was able to do both drives around 200 feet in length on one charge would like to see metal slide bar for less resistance and longer life

Not good with wet snow

First use was with 10 inches of heavy wet snow. The unit is light weight and it tends to push the snow instead of throwing the snow.It also tends to ride up over the snow. This means that you have to push a lot harder.With wet snow gas powered snow blowers perform better

No, I do not recommend this product.

I should have picked a different model

I am disappointed in the unit. I am very happy with our Ego lawn mower, less happy with this one. Our first snow was heavy wet snow, and this was not really up to the task. It is not very powerful, and I had to push hard because the wheels are small and not self-propelled. I had some clogging in the chute. I picked this one in part because it is narrow and we have limited garage space. I should have gone larger and two-stage, like the one our son is very happy with. Stick with Ego, but get a more powerful unit. I wish I could exchange this one.
