Switch from gas to electric

Love this snowblower. We live in West Michigan and have a relatively small driveway and a couple city sidewalks. We previously had a gas powered unit with a pull start and not having to worry about mixing fuel, pulling to start or prepping to store over the non winter months are worth the switch to electric. If the snow is real heavy especially where the plow dumps by the road it’s possible to stall it out but as long as you do small passes it works great. Would recommend to anyone.

Good purchase, two items to improve upon

I purchased the ego snow blower as my two stage blower was getting difficult to handle due to my age. I have used it three times within a week. My only concern is that it does not blow snow as far as claimed. When I am through the blower itself is covered in snow. Also I notice snow being discharged in front of the blower. I now have to close the garage door when running the blower. Other than the items noted it is fine.

Good for lite snow but that’s it

It works good with lite snow but when I get to anything even slightly on the heavier side it struggles and shuts off. The steal auger is nice and seems like it will hold up but there just isn’t enough power to get through buildup that happens at the end of the driveway from the plows that I’ve had no problem getting through with gas snow blowers in the past.

Had a chance to use it this weekend. Overall a much better experience than a gas blower.
Only comment at this stage is that when the snow is powdery, a large amount seems to be coming out of the outlet gaps and completely coats the body.

Just used my Ego power peak snow blower.it did a great job,easy to use,threw the snow well,easily changed irection of snow discharge with the chute.I am impressed.

A: Hi there Norm! The runtime will be dependent on the amount of snow, how dense it is and the speed in which you move through the snow. It has the capacity to clear up to one 12 car driveway. Hopefully that helps!
