Q: How often do the filters have to be changed and approximately how much do they cost?
7 years agoA: Hi there, this is Krystal with Dyson Canada. Thank you for your interest in the Dyson Pure Cool purifier. How often the filters need to be changed does depend on how often it is used. Q: Can you place this fan against a wall?

Q: Does the Pure Cool Fan have less output or less “cooling ability” then the dyson cool tower fan. Which are they the same fan just one with a purifier or is the cool tower more powerful?

Q: How effective is the cooling system?
6 years agoA: Hello Debra, this is Kelly with Dyson. Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air. You won't be able to change the temperature on the Dyson Pure Cool, but you can select airflow speeds from 1-10. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
