Q: Does the Dyson pure cool fan act as an air conditioner, can it replace air conditioning ?
5 years agoA: Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Cool air purifier and fan would not replace an air conditioning unit. Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Purified air is then expelled into your room, through the apertures in the loop. With regard to this replacing an AC unit, our purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. 5 years agoA: Hello Jennifer, this is Kelly with Dyson. The power consumption of the Dyson Pure Cool™ HEPA Air Purifier & Fan Tower features a 1400 watt motor. In the minimum airflow mode, the machine will use 6 watts of power and in max mode, 40 watts. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
