I love my dyson it makes my life so much easier from the extendable wand to the dusting attachment it’s easy to handle and does more than I expected as someone with arthritis the vacuum really help !

Don't waste your money!

This Dyson vacuum is an absolute waste of money. Poorly designed product. My 20 yr old central vac system has way more suction and does a way better job than this thing. The floor attachment design is horrible. You have to constantly pick it up off the floor and manually pull any hair or fibres out of it, it does not pick up any small dirt particles the first pass. You have to go over the same area of floor multiple times before it actually sucks anything up. The vacuum make a lot of "suction noise", however don't be fooled. This is just an illusion. It actually has very little suction. The process to empty the canister is an absolute mess. It is easy to remove, however, the dust and dirt does not "simply pour/empty" into the garbage can. It gets everywhere. If you don't do this outside, you have to redo a 10 square foot are around the garbage can. Another horrible design. I live in a home with a small child and a long haired dog, therefore we must be constantly vacuuming. I find this Dyson takes 3 times as long amd does half as good a job as my 20yr old, plugged central vac system. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I'm sure Dyson manufacturers some good products, however, this is not one of them. Don't waste your money!!

Our DC78 is air driven, if dust or debris block your air flow this may cause a loss of suction. To keep the unit in the best working condition periodical maintenance on the cyclone would be recommended.

not worth the money

the roller stops working after about 1 month.
It has great suction but thats it. I have 2 large dogs and I am using my old piece of junk vac on my carpet and my very expensive Dyson on my bare floor. That is all its good for .
And as far as the warranty, I told them about all the problems I was having no refund because I bought it at Canadian Tire they just sent me another vac but that was not the problem. They wont replace mine for one that would work for me either.
All in all very frustrating and disappointing for almost 700 dollars and it was a gift for my wife
No, I do not recommend this product.

Love My Dyson

I have had my Dyson vacuum for a couple years now and it really gets a work out almost daily. I love that I don't have to buy bags and can empty the dirt canister when it gets full.

Q: Will tools from my Dyson DC43 Animal Upright vacuum fit the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball MF Vacuum?

A: Hi Tach, this is Carissa with Dyson Canada. We are pleased to clarify our Big Ball Cylinder vacuums now have the quick release connection for ease of switching tools. Even though this connection is different, the machine does include an adaptor to fit the previous tools. Our Tangle Free Turbine tool is not compatible with the cordless machines and most of the non-motorized tools will fit our V6+ Trigger. We hope this information is well received.
