Stopped to work!

I bought Dyson Purifying fan 2.5 years ego. It stopped to work one morning, I could not turn it on (not from the button, not from the remote). I did not use it a lot because I have a conditioner at home, just when weather is so hot. I live in Canada, here is not a lot of hot days. Last year I changed filter, and that is it. Warranty is passed. Now it is a rubbish. In my opinion, It does not worth it. Ridiculous high price, for just a few months to use. Waste of money. Very disappointed!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Will the fan work without the filter? e.g. If I do not have a replacement filter on hand, but want the cooling effect of the fan, can I just turn on the fan part? Will the stuff in the dirty filter come back out when I do that?

The Dyson Pure Cool Me™ is intended for personal use, so in terms of purifying a specific square footage, it wouldn't be a model you'd select for whole-room or whole-home purification. The Pure Cool Me™ is small, quiet, and provides direct airflow intended for one user. It's perfect for placing next to a bed, on an end table, or even for use in a nursery or child's bedroom. A: Hi Gigi, this is Kelly with Dyson. thank you for your question. First, we're so sorry to learn that your dog was bothered by the noise from your Dyson Pure Cool Me. The noise level on this personal-use air purifier is 43.5dBA, so it does run at a quieter level that some of our other full-size air purifiers. One of the great benefits to our air purifiers, is that they are designed to remove air impurities, including dust and allergens that often come from having a pet in the home. While we cannot confirm for certain that the purifier isn't making a sound that your pet doesn't like, or can hear (that we cannot hear), we do know many pet owners - including myself - who use our air purifiers in the home with no issue. You may wish to try a lower speed setting, as your machine will have and airflow range, from speeds of levels 1-10. A lower speed, or even turning off the oscillation can make a difference in the noise the machine puts off.
