Poor performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased this unit and when I attached the two 1lb cylinder tanks the pilot light would flicker out right after the spark ignited it. I was holding in the knob as described in the manual and it would not hold after ignition so you could get a steady pilot light after 30 seconds. Tried several times with no success. I returned the product. I also previously returned a 10Kbtu Heat Around 360 as the pilot light kept blowing out after about 10 minutes of running. Handy unit but poor performance.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought this today & it worked fairly well. However, the 1lbs bottle only lasted about an hour at full btu. Glad that I purchased the hose attachment for the 20 lbs bottle.

Lighting this a joke

Bought this to help keep our staff warm at Farmers market on a cold weekend. I will be returning it as I just can’t get started. Ok so this one might be defective but I won’t get a new one because you have to hold a button for 30 seconds to start the pilot light and hold ANOTHER 30 seconds before you can move the switch to heat. Keep it safe I get it but if you troubles lighting it’s just irritating.

A: Run time is 2.7 – 3.2 hrs. At the highest setting runtime should be about 2.7 hrs.
