Q: Does it work well for your car window tracks to free them from slow movement or sticking/stopping in the winter?
a month agoA: No - I sprayed it outside in below zero conditions and it remained sticky. It did not dry or assist in preventing ice buildup or facilitate opening iced up doors or windows. You may achieve better results if allowed to dry in a warm location after spraying. I had such a terrible time with the sticky deposit it left, that I didn’t want to risk spraying again when the weather was still conducive to drying.

A: Non pas une bonne idée. Je l'ai fait et les vitres et les portes ont été enduites d'une pellicule un peu grasse. Par contre, je l'ai essayé en vaporisant à l'intérieur des pelles à neiges et ça fonctionnait très bien. La neige ne colle pas du tout et c'est plus agréable de pelleter :-)

Q: Would this work on snowblower bucket and auger if a lot of paint is worn off and rusty?
3 years agoA: Although DuPont Snow and Ice Repellent has not been tested on snowblower that has rust and/or worn out paint, customer may try spraying Snow and Ice liberally to make sure to coat all areas and test that it in fact will repel the snow coming through the auger.

Q: Can you use this spray for solar panels to help keep snow and ice from accumulating?
3 years agoA: If your solar panels are installed at a steep enough angle, I'd say so. but like all things, test it at the corner of the solar panel to ensure it this spray wouldn't fog up the materials of your solar panel.

5 years agoA: Hello! Thank you for your question. It is a dry film non-stick spray that does wear off over time so for optimum performance we recommend applying product before each new use. Be sure to shake can well before each application.

7 years agoA: Yes, they can use on satellite dish to prevent snow buildup. BUT, they need to watch for overspray on the roof as Finish Line Technologies, Inc. or its subsidiaries are not responsible for slips and falls due to overspray and roof or surroundings possibly getting slippery.
