    Effective but incredibly frightening.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really effective tool. I was able to cut through thick carpet in seconds. Be careful with this, it is a really sharp knife even before you attach it to a tool. Of all the power tools and accessories I own this is the only one that truly scares me because of how well it works. While anyone can get hurt with most any power tool I think this is the one that won't give you a second chance.

    Bought the new velocity, should be the best....needed a setup to cut shingles. Ordered the hook knife blade...didn't fit. Bought the adapter washer...didn't fit. My old muti-max quit working after not too many hrs use.. Guess maybe i should have bought a different oscilating tool. Frustrated....

    Scoured internet for alternative to manual hook knife for cutting asphalt roofing shingles and barely came across this item. When I check Dremel website, it barely mentioned roof shingles so I was suspect it was really designed for this but tried. WOW! This cut 30 yr dimension asphalt roof shingles like butter! Had to do more than 250 cuts and the same blade cut as fast as I could setup shingles. Best solution for trimming installed shingles on roof. Very few local stores carry and very few people know about this on internet which is a shame. if this cuts asphalt shingles this good, I trust anything else would be cake. This is the best blade since the diamond sanding blade!
