Turn your Dremel rotary tool into a versatile sanding machine with the 408 1/2 In. (12.7 mm) 60 Grit Sanding Bands. Sanding bands can be used to remove finishes, remove rust from metal surfaces, or rough shape and smooth on wood, rubber, fiberglass, metal, and other soft materials. The 408 features a coarse 60 grit abrasive which efficiently clears away a layer of debris or finish from material. The replaceable bands can be used with the 407 1/2 In. Sanding Drum Mandrel or pair it with the EZ407SA Dremel EZ Drum™ to quickly & easily change out bands.

  • DREMEL 1/2-in Coarse Sanding Band rotates at a maximum of 35,000 rpm

  • Shank: 1/8" (0.31 cm)

  • 60 grit

  • Can be used for rough shaping and smoothing wood and fibreglass

  • Can also be used for removing rust from metal surfaces and shaping rubber surfaces

  • Sander bands are easily replaceable on drums
