Sanding bands can be used to remove finishes, remove rust from metal surfaces, or rough shape and smooth on wood, rubber, fiberglass, metal, and other soft materials. The 408 features a coarse 60 grit abrasive which efficiently clears away a layer of debris or finish from material. The replaceable bands can be used with the 407 1/2 In. Sanding Drum Mandrel or pair it with the EZ407SA Dremel EZ Drum™ to quickly & easily change out bands.
