Q: Is this safe to use when emptying into a septic tank? I empty my portable toilet at the main house and the smell is gross but don't want to damage their septic system.

Q: Is it safe for use with septic tanks? Holding tank will be dumped into a septic tank. Must not harm the microbial action in the septic tank.

A: Dometic Holding Tank Deodorizer is a safe, non-toxic formulation. It neutralizes odours naturally and breaks down wast and toilet tissue. It will not harm the action in the septic tank.
