Q: How to use the tube? Poke a hole in the nozzle?

A: Unscrew the red outer cap. Then you can attach the long tube and ‘spray’ it on the soil. It doesn’t cover really evenly but will get the job done. I can’t find another way to spray powder.

Q: Will this work on getting rid of grubs in my vegetable garden, and if so, how do I use it?

A: The reason why DE is recommended for killing bugs is pretty simple. The dust is scratchy, so when critters with exoskeletons (hard shells on the outside) are exposed to diatomaceous earth, it cuts through that protective layer, and the bugs eventually dehydrate and die. That scratchiness, caused by the microscopic edges of the fossilized diatoms, is also why DE irritates the skin and eyes. It is recommended that you wear a mask if you are applying it in large amounts. As mentioned in an earlier answer I did not buy this product

A: I'm not sure. I use it for the red beetles on my lilies plus ants. It would probably work.

Q: How do I use this indoors? Trying to get rid of cockroaches.

A: I don't know if this works for cockroaches, you will have to Google types of bugs it kills, but I just spread it around openings and crevasses (we live in a very old house), and it stopped some fleas that got in with a pet. I worked perfectly for that. Vacuum up after, but leave it as long as you can. I left it for few.months as the area I applied was not trafficked.

Q: Doctor Doom Diatomaceous Earth Dust is this toxic to humans? Will the powder cause illness if breathed in? How long will the effectiveness of the powder last?
1 Answer
A: Doktor Doom Premium Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth (DE) has .1% Crystalline Silica. This is the OSHA (Occupational Health & Safety) approved threshold to not be cancer causing.
Doktor Doom Premium Food Grade DE if applied by label instructions should not create much dust and if this is a concern use a mask approved for fine particle dust.
The product is effective as long as it is present and dry.
Best regards,
Doktor Doom
