Disappointment

Bought this for my son for Christmas. He loves sharks and was so excited to start digging. Imagine his disappointment when, after spending a long time digging through both of the dig blocks, he realized that neither of them contained a shark tooth. Very disappointing, and what a waste of $20.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved doing this gem excavation. My daughter had the most fun she loves collecting rocks, gems, crystals ect. She said this was the best thing ever having to actually dig up a pretty gem. It was a little messy but we put it in a blanket so clean up was easy.

Fun excavation set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little toy treasure excavation kit is a fun activity for kids. The tools are simple and easy to use, however my son struggled a little to break up the rock. I highly recommend using this kit as the treasure in a buried treasure hunt--it adds an element of wonder to it and the kids love it! It had two shark teeth in it which were kind of hard to find because they were really small. He did have fun with it.

Great STEM kit for kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved this toy excavation kit! I have a wide range of ages (13 to 3) at home and everyone has fun with this kit. My 3 year old thinks it's fun to "dig for treasures" and the older ones love to learn more about archeology through the included materials, and use those techniques to dig for things outside. This is a fun family interactive activity that breaks up the normal routine!
