You need an account to “flash” the module. You can’t get one unless you are an installer. Bring back the good old pro start brand remote starters

Professional installation required

Got this product under recommendation from a Honda service representative. After confirming that it would fit my 2014 Honda civic. I purchased it. It came with no instructions and was a hassle to even get tech support to answer. Come to find out you need to get it professionally installed and purchase additional hardware. Maybe it’s a good product but I’m not sinking close to 800 bucks into the project

Q: How do you repair a remote that's forgotten your car? I have 2 fobs for this, but I've only been using 1 for the last 2.5 years. I tried the spare this week and it just blinks blue, but car isn't responding I changed the batteries and still nothing

A: Turn Ignition ON with the key. Press then release then press and hold the Antenna button until the LED starts to flash on the antenna. Release the button. This will keep the system in pairing mode for 30 seconds. On your remote simultaneously press and hold the unlock and ! (Exclamation) buttons until the remote’s LED start flashing. When it does release the buttons. The Remote’s LED will turn off. Then press the LOCK button for 3 sec. Turn Ignition OFF to exit pairing mode.

A: I returned mine. As a class A mechanic, I highly recommend you go to your local Ford dealer and order one through them. It will be less intrusive on your vehicles wiring, and more compatible with the on board systems on your Escape.
