Q: Will this saw cut a 2 x 4?
4 years agoA: haven't cut any 2x4 but the saw capacity does cut over 2" at 90 degrees. I have cut some 1" thick melamine and it had the power to cut through it easily if that helps any.

Q: Can you use an 18 volt battery in this saw or will it only work with 20 volt batteries?
10 years agoA: Unfortunately, 054-1376 is not compatible with DEWALT 18V Nickel-Cadmium batteries. It is powered by a different battery chemistry and voltage, interchangeable with DEWALT 20V Lithium-Ion battery platform.
