Great tool

I do hvac and I run a 3/8 bit in this for wall brackets for condensers. This drill will run all day. Only problem is the bits can’t keep up with the drill

As another review mentioned the drill stopped working after drilling a handful of holes in concrete. When It was working it worked great but seems like 6 holes in concrete in a row the tool stopped hammering and almost seizes up. Not really sure what's going on but seeing a previous review with the same symptoms makes me think lack of build quality. Unfortunately I contacted dewalt, it is covered under warranty (if the damage is confirmed as Manufacturing defect) they said take to a service factory center. I asked where is the closest one from me being in Kitchener and Woodstock they haven't got back to me. So my job is half done and I looks like I'll have to go purchased another Rotary hammer most likely a different brand. As I cannot be driving 1 hour to a Factory service center to drop off the tool and come back(4hours driving + whatever time for repair. Very good when you have a job that has a time line) when it is maybe fixed. Or if they determine I abused it from drilling 6 holes 3/8 diameter in concrete

Amazing Power

I have used this SDS drill a few times now and it has out performed every time. Most recently, removing a 1970’s 450sq/ft tile floor in a basement. By hand would have taken 16 hours. However, with this drill and correct tile bit, I removed entire tile floor in 2.5 hours on one battery. Simply amazing and love this tool!

It would be recommended to use an SDS MAX Rotary Hammer to drive rebar into the ground.
