Destroyed itself

Piston and rod completely destroyed themselves and replacement parts are hard to find and when I did get them they didn’t work. I basically have an air tank with no compressor. I’ve always been a Dewalt fan but this is horrible. I can’t rate this as a 0 or I would.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: I can't tell because I use it in my heated garage (as low as 5 degrees Celsius). It works very well under this temperature.

A: I would have to say no. It’s a good compressor but when it starts up, you won’t be able to hear much else in your shop. The Maximum models are quite quiet but I don’t think they’re the same level of quality. California Air Tools are the quietest IMO but very pricey.

Q: Anyone with real world experience that can tell me if this will run a die grinder continuously? I have a compressor that's rated at 5.1 cfm at 90 psi, tool is rated at 3.5 cfm and it will not run it continuously. Thanks.

A: Thank you for your question. Die Grinders normally require between 4-8 SCFM. This air compressor (Product # 0581389) has a SCFM of 5.0 @ 90 PSI. The compressor will need to cycle during the application, but it has a lot of unusable air and will longer than a 5-10 gallon compressor.
