Works beautifully.

Works beautifully. I’ve been running it off and on for a total of 3 or four hours on a 3aH battery. Lots of juice left in the battery. Love not plugging it in although the option remains. Used it in my 400 sf uninsulated garage with 14 ft roof peak. Cracked the garage door open a bit for ventilation. Before using, the temp inside the garage was 11 degrees. Outdoor was 6 degrees. After an hour on the lowest setting the temperature was 19 degrees. With this heater I can now add a couple of extra months of availability to my garage shop.

Q: I read the review that speaks to an issue of not performing well when tank reaches 1/3. Is this an issue with them or a one of?

2 Answers
  • A: That is an issue with tank pressure and liquefied propane gas freezing when there is draw on the tank. The heaters work great with adequate tank volume

Q: Could this be used to heat an enclosed space ? like a garage with the doors closed ?

  • A: Since it is a propane heater you do need a bit of air flow. I just purchased it to heat my garage. I left the garage door open a few inches. The heater itself works great, I tried the battery mode with a 1.5 amp battery and it lasted for about 2 hrs.
