My old charger much better than new Dewalt charger

This charger came as part of a Dewalt drill/driver kit I bought maybe 10 years ago. It has always charged my batteries very fast from a fully discharged state to full charge in about 15 minutes or so. I just bought another Dewalt drill kit last week which included charger model #DCB107 (doesn't even show up on Dewalt website) and that charger took ~4 hours to charge a battery that wasn't even fully depleted. Talk about going backwards in technology/performance!?

Worked twice and then failed

Thought I had defective Dewalt batteries, but it was the charger. The charger does not indicate a failure, but shows its charging the battery forever. The battery never gets proper voltage to charge so it just sits on the charger and very cold to the touch. The battery was properly clicked into the charger, so the problem is internal.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this DeWalt Charger around 5 yrs ago, and I can now charge all my DeWalt 12v Batteries. From 1.5ah to my new 4.0ah battery I just bought. Very Satisfied...AAA+++
