Great Splitter

Had mine for 2 years, split over 500 cords with it and still going strong, just broke the first spring on it, now trying to find one, doesn’t list part numbers so makes it little hard. It makes short fast work of splitting wood, I’m a firewood seller and it’s helped me expand my business greatly, I’d highly recommend this splitter for anyone.

Short cycling and highly productive

I’ve had this for about 2 years and it’s the most productive splitter on the market. The axle length is too short and I added 16” so it is less likely to tip when towing. I recommend that design modification.

Blew belts in first half load of logs

I bought this a month ago, through a half a load of logs and it’s sheared both belts off it. The speed of this machine is awesome but just not happy to replace belts within a month of owning.

I bought this splitter six months age on recommendation of a friend. This thing is a log eating beast. I have yet to find a log it won’t split.

We purchased this machine in March 2022. After using it to split roughly 15 cords over the last couple winters I have found most bolts loosening or falling out, the ram is now slow to retract and the wood keeps getting caught on the splitting table steel and bending it. This machine has a long ways to go to be worth what DK2 is selling them for. It's a cheaply built light duty product where every corner was cut to maximize profit. The underlying design is okay, but it's built cheap. Cheap steel, cheap fasteners, definitely not made in North America. Go hydraulic if you don't need the production.

No, I do not recommend this product.
