Good machine but expensive

I bought one about three years ago for transporting cleanup from horse stalls and run-outs. It has been vital for my daughter and hired help, transporting full loads even when there is substantial snow on the way to the composting sites. It should have tires with tubes and I had to have these inserted when tubeless went flat. At one point it would not drive but the dump worked. I found debris build-up in the enclosed drive sensed overload to protect electric system and a good clean-out solved the problem. I would like a second one as back-up, but still hope to find a dealer sell-out at a lower price.

"Cheesy" plastic switch.

Our review is 3 stars BECAUSE the forward / reverse switch is "cheesy" plastic and does NOT hold up with heavy use We ordered 2 wheelbarrows, BOTH switches broke. No switch NO motorized operation - makes equipment useless.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Be Ready To Dump A Load

Description of The Big Dump is very accurate. It is a beast and handles a load with no problem. Climbs an Incline with little effort. Shipping from order to delivery within one week and crated securely. Minimal assembly with basic instructions. Only weakness with my personal use is the tires in sand. It is heavy without a load and the tires burrow into the sand.

Pleased Overall

Required assembly is minimal. The use of what appeared to be an old stock axle caused some confusion. At first it seemed there were parts missing for some type of mechanical brake system. It turned out the parts were not necessary for operation of the machine. It would be nice if the manual was a bit more detailed, including routine maintenance suggestions, etc.
Overall, machine operates as advertised. So far no issues electrically or mechanically.
Shipping was fast and unit arrived as you would expect, no damage.
Yes, I recommend this product.

48 volt Electric, heavy duty 1/2 tonne cart. OPD81

Very heavy, of course, and even the slowest speed is a bit fast for the two handicapped seniors who are to use it as a barrow for mucking out horse and donkey stalls, and a garden cart/landscaping cart in season. (It lives in our barn.) Delivery was very fast, efficient and the driver was courteous and unrushed placing it as we asked in our garage where assembly was to take place (when our strong helper was available.)
Unless one is very fit and strong, it takes two persons about an hour for assembly.
Disposing of the necessary skid and large wooden packing box may prove problematic unless you have a trailer or a place to break it all down and burn it.

Q: What type of slope can it climb? Ideally I would need it to go up a ramp 45 degrees along stairs, wouid the motor be strong enough for that?
