Garbage

I guess the rack I purchased was built on a Friday lol. To call this rack a piece of garbage would be a severe understatement! Although first use I traveled 200km and no issues.
2nd and 3rd use my ebike fell off the rack a total of 5 times. Two of which were at highway speeds. The U arms are faulty and unlock, I watched them pop up from my bike, they will not lock!!!! Fortunately I also had ratchet straps attached to my bike so no contact with the road. But my bike derailleur was destroyed and my spotless tacoma off road now has a dent in the tailgate. 100% do not recommend!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Good value and secure

Just completed our maiden voyage with this rack and it performed very well. Mostly highway driving at 120kmh+ with two mountain bikes. Little to no movement at all times. The lowering mechanism could be improved - when closed, you have to position the closest arm so the lever can open fully. It took me a few attempts to figure this out, whereas there should be enough clearance for this not to be an extra step. Otherwise very satisfied.

Good Rack - Difficult Loading

I bought this a couple of months ago and have used it once. Tried using it other times and gave up to use the back of my truck.
Once you get the bike up on the rack it is good, the problem that I have is my ebikes are fairly heavy and unwieldy and make it very difficult to load. Is there a ramp available to make loading and unloading easier??

Q: Does it Fit on back of class 1 RV ?

A: While the hitch is designed to fit into a 2" receiver commonly found on RV's and trailers, the manual specifically states that it can not be used on an RV or trailer. I copied this from the manual as a reference. "DANGER! DO NOT mount any 2-inch hitch-mounted carrier to RVs, travel trailers, or any mid-axle vehicles. The torque from the mid-axle tires on RVs, travel trailers, etc. can cause too much strain on the carrier, causing damage to your bicycle carrier and/or possibly creating loss of stability or swaying of the carrier, leading bicycles to fall out of place entirely during transportation. Failure to follow this warning can lead to serious damage to the hitch receiver, bicycle carrier, mounted bikes, or the vehicle. Failure to follow this warning can also lead to serious injury or death."
